The Muntpassage in Weert is one of the first covered shopping centers in the Netherlands, built in the early 1970s.
At the heart of the Muntpassage lies the historic building “De Munt,” which dates back to the 16th century and was once used for minting coins in medieval times—hence the name of the shopping center.
Today, the Muntpassage forms part of Weert’s prime A1 retail area and offers a wide variety of shops.
